Special Instructions for taking your Beginning I module by DVD:
We STRONGLY encourage you to take all training modules in person. Half of every 4 day module consists of practicing what you are learning in small groups. When you take a module by DVD you are still getting high-quality instruction presented by a faculty member, but you miss the opportunity to practice what you are learning.
We realize that there may be circumstances where it is not possible to take a training in person. We allow you to take one module in your Beginning year, and one Module in your Intermediate year by DVD. Consecutive modules MAY NOT be taken by DVD – in other words, you may not take Beginning III and Intermediate I by DVD. Advanced year trainings are not available to be taken by DVD.
If you take Beginning I by DVD, you must also complete a review session with an Approved Review Session provider BEFORE you can take Beginning II. This review session is complimentary and can be done via phone, Skype, or in person. Click here for a list of approved DVD review session providers.
If you cannot take your Beginning I training in person, please complete the electronic application and indicate where you anticipate taking the Beginning II module.
*Taking Beginning I via DVD does not guarantee you a spot in the next module of the training. We give priority for registration to those students who took the training at that location in the previous module. Registration for Beginning II will become available to DVD and transfer students 45 days prior to the start date using the Beginning II waitlist.
