SE™ INTERNATIONAL TRAINING & EVENTS

Upcoming SEI Training & Events

NOTICE: Over the next two months, SEI is implementing a major upgrade to its technology systems in order to better serve our students, members, donors, and other constituents. During this time, you may see delays in response times. Once fully implemented, we expect to be able to provide even faster, more efficient service and share new features that improve your experience. Thank you for your patience!

As we move trainings online, they are still a part of their local cohorts. If your training has moved online please search for the state and city as usual to register for that module.

Due to COVID-19, all in person trainings may be subject to move online. With the uncertainties brought on by the pandemic, SEI recommends that all attendees purchase travel insurance when making travel arrangements. Please be sure to check your trainings event summary frequently for any updates.

If you are interested in receiving updates about Advanced training modules in the US and Canada, please email communications@traumahealing.org to be added to this mailing list. For international Advanced modules, please email your local organizer or coordinator.

Part IIII: October 6, 2022 - 11:00AM - 12:30PM

Dynamic Somatic Touch (DST) is a new Trauma and life approach model developed to greatly accelerate the work of trauma resolution and the unwinding of body-based dysfunctional patterns. It is a melding of Orthobionomy, Somatic Experiencing, Osteopathy, Narrative, and Depth Psychology as well as several western and eastern philosophies.

DST views the individual in their wholeness: emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual. Working within these horizons, individuals not only achieve health and resolution, but also life mastery that extends resilience, health, and an expanded experience of being alive.

Applying the outstanding strengths of several disciplines, DST encourages, supports, and makes possible the unwinding of long held bodily limitations, nervous system activation, and unhelpful belief systems. Using touch, narrative, and empathetic presence, students will learn how to help resolve difficult emotional, bodily, and mental experiences.

DST can be applied in any discipline, from bodyworkers, yoga instructors, herbalists to therapists and medical professionals.
