Her professional experience includes work in psychiatric hospitals and prior to that work in the private sector. She also accumulated her teaching and trauma expertise as a trainer specialising in the fields of Eye Movement Integration (EMI), Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE), Resource Therapy (RT) and Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP).
As Rachporn was born in Thailand and grew up in Switzerland, she brings elements of East and West together. Connecting and bridging between different countries and cultures has always been and still is an important part of her work. She is passionate about SE and it has become her ‘native’ language. As a teacher, she creates a safe environment for successful learning in a joyful and relaxed way, supporting students’ curiosity and their interactions.
Since her own training in SE, she has been assisting Peter A. Levine and many SE teachers in Europe, Brazil, Hong Kong and South Africa, and continues to assist Peter Levine’s post-advanced workshops in Switzerland.
She is also trained in Clinical Hypnosis, EMDR, CBT, Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT) and Tuningboard, as well as being an international supervisor for Ego State Therapy (ESTI).
She has been the founder and chair of the Foundation of Somatic Experiencing Netherlands (SEN) and has been vice-chair of the European Association for Somatic Experiencing (EASE).
Rachporn speaks fluent Dutch, German, English and Thai.
