Trauma can have a significant impact on our financial wellbeing. From emotion regulation through impulsive spending, risk taking and gambling, to career instability, reduced earning potential, and trust issues for financial advisors, institutions, and even in our own capacity and capability to manage our finances effectively.

 

In this session we will explore the link between various trauma categories have on financial capability and wellbeing including both development and shock trauma. We will learn common coupling dynamics that keep clients in financial freeze or chaos and how to apply SE principles and inventions when working with clients and their challenging financial experiences and circumstances.
