Dr. Maureen Gallagher is a Psychologist and psychotherapist with over 30 years of clinical experience, a somatic trauma educator, and the founder of Somatic Inner Relationship Focusing (SIRF)—a body-based, compassionate parts-work model integrating Somatic Experiencing® (SE) and Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF).
Her work is integrative, with a strong emphasis on somatics and attachment, supporting clients in understanding how early relational experiences shape the nervous system and sense of self. She also integrates Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), deepening the resolution of shock trauma and early attachment wounds.
Dr. Gallagher maintains a private practice and is Faculty at Somatic Experiencing International (SEI), where she teaches Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced level SE trainings. She is also a Certified Inner Relationship Focusing Trainer.
Her work supports movement toward nervous system regulation, attachment security, and a compassionate, embodied relationship with one’s inner world.
