Dear Practitioner Directory Participants,
We are excited to announce that the Practitioner Directory is moving to our new online portal. This integration means you will soon have a single login for all your interactions with SEI, making it easier to manage your membership and directory information in one place.
Please read this email in full, as it contains important details on maintaining your listing during this transition.
How the New Directory Works
The new system is a subscription-based model. Because you are an existing subscriber, you will not need to purchase a new subscription until your current period ends. As a thank you for your patience during this migration, we are extending all 1-year listings by an additional month.
Key Changes and Data Security
- Updated Specialties: We have revised our specialty categories to better represent SE students and practitioners from various professional backgrounds. Because this is an iterative process, you will need to log in and re-select the specialties that best apply to you.
- Privacy and Contact Info: To ensure your privacy, we will not be migrating addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses into the front-facing directories. Many practitioners provide SEI with private home addresses for billing but use business addresses for the directory.
- Practitioner Bios: Because the old and new systems operate on different platforms, we are unable to migrate your bio. Please copy your current bio before January 15, 2026, so you can paste it into the new portal.
Your Next Steps for Launch
When you receive your portal invitation at the end of January, please follow these steps:
- Log In: Use the email address where you received this message. If you receive multiple invitations, choosing the one associated with your current directory login will prevent delays in your posting.
- Verify Status: Check “My Subscriptions” in the left navigation bar to ensure your account is correctly linked. Update “My Info”: Enter your preferred “Directory Address” and “Directory Phone Number” and “Directory Email Address” to ensure your listing is searchable. Ensure you update your Directory email address so that when someone submits a contact form to you, it gets to you. This is a necessary step. Your “Directory Email” will be used to forward new client inquiries from the Provider Directory.
- Your Practitioner Directory photo cannot be migrated, unfortunately. While logged into your portal, please find the Form called “Practitioner Photo Upload Form”, and we will update your photo for you.
- We will launch the portal directories two weeks after the initial Go Live date. This will give you sufficient time to update your listings so when they go live, they are complete. The current directories will remain in effect for that time. The deadline to update your directory listing contact information is February 1, 2026.
- Review Your Listing: Once the directory is live, search for yourself to ensure your information displays correctly. If you notice any issues, please contact SEI.
- Update any public links you have to your new profile listing.
This new portal will help SEI better support you! One of the biggest and most important, changes is the integration of systems to streamline processes and ensure that our Practitioner Directory fully meets your needs as a subscriber.
