Are you passionate about strengthening the global SE™ community?
The Global Culture Committee of Somatic Experiencing® International (SEI) is inviting applications for a two-year membership term (2026–2028).
The committee partners with the SEI Board of Directors to help cultivate a more globally connected, culturally responsive, and collaborative organization. Together, organizers, assistants, faculty, staff, board members, and community leaders work to strengthen SEI's impact worldwide.
Today, our committee includes members with lived experience from Kenya, South Korea, Colombia, Nigeria, the United States, and Aotearoa (New Zealand). Together, we've helped advance initiatives such as:
✔ Language & Translation — Piloting multilingual programs and expanding translated training resources.
✔ Global Access — Improving the accessibility and affordability of SE resources while supporting communities during times of crisis.
✔ Growing New SE Communities — Supporting emerging regions and helping organizers introduce Somatic Experiencing® to new communities.
✔ International Connection — Strengthening communication and collaboration across SEI's global network.
As SEI continues to grow, we're excited to welcome new perspectives, experiences, and ideas.
If you're ready to help shape the future of our global community, we encourage you to apply today.
