I am a Brazilian Licensed Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, currently residing in the south of Brazil with my daughter.
With over 20 years of experience in private practice, I am dedicated to integrating somatic awareness and intervention with relational psychotherapy, providing a comprehensive approach to emotional and psychological healing. I am a Beginning and Intermediate Level Teacher for Somatic Experiencing International. Additionally, I am an active member of the Brazilian Trauma Association.
My qualifications include certifications as a Systemic Relational Psychotherapist and Supervisor, as well as an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist and Supervisor. I´m also a Matrixworks Living Systems practitioner, an approach to working with groups.
Over the past decade, I have served as a Somatic Experiencing® in my hometown and assisted trainings at all levels alongside various faculty members worldwide. This experience has significantly deepened my understanding of the SE framework and the importance of culturally adapting its teachings. My personal passion for creating inclusive and welcoming learning environments has prepared me well for fostering diverse and supportive classroom settings for all students. I support SE students with personal sessions and individual and group consultations in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
My clinical practice with individuals, families, and couples integrates both psychotherapy and Somatic Experiencing®. This integrative approach allows me to address relational issues with a particular focus on the body's physiology and its role in emotional and psychological well-being. I have a keen interest in exploring topics related to human development, attachment, and interpersonal relationships.
