Applications of SE: Cravings, Destigmatized: The Doorway to Your Unconscious with Luis Mojica CLC, CNC, SEP
Description
In this webinar, Luis will be teaching us how to experience food cravings somatically. The sensations attached to cravings lead us into parts of our bodies that have important information for us. If we meet cravings with shame and judgment, we miss all of the important information that they hold about our emotions, unmet needs, and even unmetabolized traumas.
This is open to anyone who experiences eating disorders & food addictions, and anyone who wants to develop a more conscious relationship between their bodies and their eating habits.
Learning Objectives:
1) To see cravings as intelligent and meet them with curiosity rather than judgment and dominance.
2) To apply this practice clinically with clients or personally in your own healing journey.
3) To learn more from our bodies by applying the elements of SIBAM to something so familiar in our everyday lives: the foods we love and crave.
4) To continue the important conversation of how food plays an important role in trauma healing.
Attending clinicians will be able to begin weaving this into their practice with their clients. Since food greatly impacts our biology, and we all must eat, weaving SE into our relationship with food can often be the missing link in many therapeutic practices.
This webinar is 1 hour and 29 minutes long.
