IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TECHNOLOGY ROLLOUT

 

Dear Somatic Experiencing® Community,

As we have been sharing, Somatic Experiencing International® (SEI) is undertaking a major technology upgrade to better serve our global community. The rollout is planned for December/January, and we are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.

These ongoing updates are designed to orient you to what’s coming in a titrated, step-by-step manner. This message includes important information that may require action before the rollout, so we invite you to read carefully.

Staff Training and Temporary Impact on Response Times

To ensure a smooth transition and provide the best support possible, SEI staff will be engaging in extensive training over the next few months. This period of learning and system testing will help us serve you more effectively in the future, but it may also impact response times, particularly throughout December and January.
 

Important Dates and Deadlines

To help our team manage workload and continue offering timely support, we kindly ask that you:

  • Submit SEP Certificate applications, assistant approvals, and provider approvals as early as possible.

  • If your application requires approval before January 31, 2026, please submit it no later than December 1, 2025

Your early submission will help ensure smooth processing and minimize disruption during the transition period.

 

Communication and Support During the Transition

During this time, SEI will:

  • Prioritize urgent requests, including registration and time-sensitive inquiries.

  • Triage incoming emails so that critical questions receive a prompt response.

For reference, the SEI database contains more than 70,000 people, and our staff is fewer than 30. We  strive to uphold our core value of caring for staff well-being, ensuring that our team is resourced to serve you sustainably.

We encourage you to check the Fonteva Landing Webpage regularly. It will feature:

  • All Fonteva-related communications and announcements

  • A growing Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQs) section

  • Training videos to help you navigate the new portal

All your questions will likely be answered there. As we move closer to the official launch, we will share a clear process for submitting additional questions or feedback.
