Somatic Experiencing® International Receives NBCC Approval
We are pleased to announce that Somatic Experiencing® International (SEI) has once again been approved as a continuing education provider through the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC).
This milestone allows SEI to once again offer NBCC continuing education credits for select Somatic Experiencing training modules, expanding access to professional development opportunities for counselors and helping practitioners meet continuing education requirements while deepening trauma-informed clinical skills.
We are proud to continue supporting professionals worldwide through high-quality training grounded in the principles of Somatic Experiencing® and dedicated to advancing excellence in trauma healing.
Participants are encouraged to review each training CE Information page to confirm NBCC and ASWB ACE eligibility, as continuing education credits are only available for select approved modules.

Counselors and Social Workers residing in the United States and Canada who attend trainings eligible for NBCC or ASWB ACE credit through SEI may be able to:
- Use employer-provided continuing education funds to help cover tuition costs.
- Apply their Certificate of Completion toward professional license renewal requirements, where accepted by their licensing board.
