Lillian Troost
SEI Faculty, SEP™, LCSW, PhD
I am a social pedagogue by profession and have worked for many years in both the Netherlands and Austria with children, young people, and adults with neurodiversity. I am a biodynamic craniosacral therapist and teacher, psychological counsellor, and qualified supervisor.
I trained with Barbara Ann Brennan (USA), and in 2011, I completed my Somatic Experiencing® training in Austria. I’ve since deepened my knowledge in Neuroaffective Developmental Psychology (NADP) with Marianne Bentzen and Susan Hart, as well as systemic training and somatic ego state therapy with Maggie Phillips.
I am also the co-founder of an international project focused on trauma work with children affected by war, with a special focus on Syria.
Since completing my Somatic Experiencing training, I’ve assisted in numerous trainings across the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany with various SE™ trainers. As of 2025, I’ve had the honor of serving as a faculty member.
I teach in German, Dutch, and English.
